Terms for using FlavourSync.

FlavourSync provides tools for importing, saving, organising, editing and using recipes. Features may evolve as we improve the service. We will provide reasonable notice where practical before a material change that adversely affects your use.

FlavourSync is currently provided without charge and has no paid features, subscriptions, advertising, affiliate links, sponsored placements or other revenue sources. Any introduction of a revenue source requires advance review of these terms and the service's legal and operational information.

Recipe imports depend on information supplied by other recipe websites. Imports may be incomplete, unavailable or inaccurate. Check ingredients, allergens, temperatures and food-safety information before relying on a recipe.

• Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
• Protect your password and devices, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you report misuse.
• Do not use bots to create accounts or try to get around security or usage limits.

You retain ownership of original content you add. You give the operator a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and display that content only as needed to operate and improve the service.

Importing a recipe does not transfer ownership of the source recipe, writing or images. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to save, adapt and share material and for preserving source attribution where appropriate. Review the content and import policy before importing or sharing third-party material.

Recipes are private by default. If you create a sharing link or invite a collaborator, you are responsible for choosing suitable access and for revoking it when it is no longer needed. Editors can change shared recipe content. Personal notes remain separate and are not shared.

You must not use FlavourSync to:

• break the law or infringe another person's rights;
• upload malware, attempt unauthorised access, probe vulnerabilities or disrupt the service;
• use bots or other automated tools to copy from or overload FlavourSync, except through tools we provide;
• publish unlawful, deceptive, abusive or dangerously misleading content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship with a recipe creator, publisher or the operator.

We work to keep FlavourSync available and protect saved information, but maintenance, supplier incidents and events outside reasonable control can interrupt service.

The current free service does not promise a particular level of availability or a backup that can always be restored. Keep a current copy of information you cannot afford to lose.

We may change or discontinue features for security, legal or product reasons. When a change materially affects your use, we will provide notice where reasonably possible.

You may download your data or request deletion from account settings. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or address a serious breach of these terms. We will explain the reason unless prohibited or unsafe to do so.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability and dispute provisions, remain in effect.

FlavourSync is a recipe-management tool, not medical, dietary or professional food-safety advice. Nutrition values, allergen information, ingredient substitutions and imported instructions may be incomplete. Make decisions appropriate to your health, circumstances and local guidance.

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Each party remains responsible for loss it causes where the law says that responsibility cannot be limited. To the extent the law permits, the operator is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, third-party website content, or decisions made from imported recipe or nutrition information.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Mandatory consumer protections in your country continue to apply.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent legal relief or using a regulator or dispute process available by law.
