Respect the people behind the recipe.

When you paste a recipe link, FlavourSync reads the page and looks for recipe details the site has made available. If it can read them, the app prepares a draft with details such as the title, ingredients, instructions, times, original link and image links.

Not every website will work. Sites organise recipe details differently, may prevent tools from reading them, or may change their pages. FlavourSync may refuse a page that is unsafe, unavailable or cannot be imported reliably.

• Use the importer only for pages and material you are permitted to access and save.
• Do not use FlavourSync to get around paywalls, sign-in restrictions, licence terms or other protections set by a publisher.
• Do not remove authorship or source information in order to misrepresent another person's work as your own.
• Do not upload or enter unlawful, abusive, deceptive, privacy-invasive or infringing content.
• Check imported allergens, nutrition, temperatures, timings and food-safety information before cooking.

Saved imports retain the original link where it is supplied. Keep that link with the recipe and return to the publisher for context, corrections, commentary and current terms. The copy you save should complement the source, not impersonate or replace it.

Recipe ideas and factual ingredient lists may be treated differently from creative writing, photographs, video and distinctive presentation under applicable law. You are responsible for understanding the rights that apply to your use.

A recipe page may provide an image link. Displaying or saving that link does not give you permission to use the image. Do not use other people's images beyond what the creator, publisher and applicable law permit. External images can change or disappear, and their website may be able to see when the image is opened.

You keep ownership of original notes, edits and other material you create. Under the Terms, you give the operator only the limited permission needed to store, process and display that material while providing FlavourSync.

Personal recipe libraries are private by default. You can share one recipe through an expiring link that you can turn off, or invite a viewer or editor by email. Make sure you have the right to share the recipe and any attached media. Review the recipient, permission and copy setting before sharing, and revoke access when it is no longer needed. Personal notes are never included in shared views or copies and remain private.

Publishers and creators can ask how imports, credits or access restrictions are handled through the contact page. Include the affected web address, your relationship to the material and enough detail for us to investigate.

We may restrict imports from a website or remove access to material while reviewing a credible legal, safety or rights complaint.

A report should identify the protected work, the material or location at issue, your contact information, the basis for your authority and a good-faith explanation of the concern. Submit it using the copyright topic on the contact page.

We may request additional information, preserve relevant records, notify the affected user where appropriate, and remove or restrict material when required by law or the Terms. Knowingly false reports may have legal consequences.

This policy may change as importing and sharing features evolve. Material changes will be dated here and reflected in the Terms or product where appropriate.
